2024 JUDO IN REVIEW | Yellow Belt → Green Belt 🥋

This video is a little personal reflection on my judo in 2024. 🥋 I went back through my camera roll, competition footage, dojo recordings, and all of the random clips pulled from our Instagram Lives and put together every throw I could find from the year. I wanted to see the patterns — what throws I was working, what I kept coming back to, what actually started working in competition and randori, and how my judo changed throughout the year. At the beginning of 2024, I was a yellow belt. By the end of the year, I had earned my green belt. And now, looking back at this footage as a brown belt, it's kind of wild to see the difference. In all honesty, the majority of this compilation is completed throws but also includes nage komi, randori's with my senseis and some throws that didn't work. Most importantly, I'm really proud of the throws I developed in 2024 — especially the ones that became my throws. Drop tai otoshi, tani otoshi, and osoto gari saved me that year. Going back and watching these clips made me realize just how much can change in one year when you keep showing up.
