Mass Effect 2 - The Normandy Theme (Cerberus Edition) - Simdrew1993

Hey there everyone, this may come as a surprise since I have never made or uploaded a Mass Effect track/remix before. I am a big fan of Mass Effect and spent the last years of my teenage years playing the Trilogy and it was up there as one of the best game series I've ever played/experienced. I started by creating myself as the main character Commander Shepard. For a remix this time I did the Normandy theme from Mass Effect 1 and made it into a style that feels like it would belong in Mass Effect 2, combined with the Illusive Man and Cerberus undertones to give it an ominous vibe, that feeling that you are now working with the bad guys now and cannot trust anyone entirely. In Mass Effect 2, As Commander Shepard you no longer work for the Alliance Military Fleet of Earth after the events of Mass Effect 2, and you now work for a mysterious shady terrorist organization known as Cerberus after they recovered your body and brought you back to life using their cutting edge technology after you were in a fatal accident after the end of Mass Effect 1. One thing that bothered me was in Mass Effect 2 you pilot a large space frigate known as the SR2 Normandy, Cerberus's model of your original ship that you are commander of. And the SR1 Normandy used to play the Normandy theme song all throughout being on the ship, it added a very nice background ambience with it's mysterious and captivating tune. However developers made nothing but dead silence to Mass Effect 2's Normandy... Since the Normandy no longer has a theme in Mass Effect 2 and just plays dead silence and computer beeps, engine sounds, I wanted to make a new version of the Normandy theme that represents the Cerberus group while still keeping that captivating feel of the original. Mysterious still, yet a bit of a darker undertone. Here is the original theme from Mass Effect 1:    • The Normandy   You are commander Shepard, a Spectre and Commander of The SR1 Normandy ship in Mass Effect as you save the Galaxy from the alien threat of Geth and Reapers. I hope maybe some day someone can mod this remix of mine into Mass Effect 2 so it plays whenever you are on your ship, that would be cool. Anyway, thanks for reading and hope you enjoy.
