John Deere 14SB blade control repair

My experience trying to fix a broken safety component on a 30 year-old John Deere 14SB. Not in the video is my suggestion to use Emory or fine sandpaper to smooth down any grinding you’ve done with a Dremel; then use dry silicone spray on moving parts within the control itself, especially an epoxy-repaired and trimmed safety lever’s ring and the sleeve it fits over, on both halves of the control housing.
