Time Encoded: 2026_10_2_17_31_17 Channel Backstory =============== The Andersons Return Lonnie and Cody Anderson were met by Bonnie and Connie at the Dallas airport. They were both looking extremely happy and luvvy duvvy as they say and as they all finally met up there were lots of hugs and kisses to go round. Bonnie: It's great to see you again, we've missed you both so much. Connie: Ditto that. It's lovely to see you both. Have you had a good time? Lonnie was quickest to answer. Her anticipation was second to none. Lonnie: Hell, yes! We enjoyed every moment of it and there was just so much to see but Cody here was very romantic and swept me up in his arms almost every night. Lonnie turned towards Cody and pulled him in close and they hugged each other, all starry eyed, and shared a kiss. Quite a long one forgetting themselves for just a heartbeat. Bonnie: Young love. Well they do say feint heart never won fair lady and I would say that you exude that confidence between you. Lonnie relaxed her grip on her man, Cody Anderson, and looked longingly into his eyes before turning her head towards her youngest sister, Bonnie Rockwaller-Senior. Lonnie: That is so true Bonnie & likewise we have missed all our friends and family but there was so much to take in and, Cody here, really knows how to treat me well. Prompted by Lonnie, Cody felt it was the right moment to back up his wife's endorsement of his own generosity, when it comes to treating his good lady wife. Cody: And I always will, my love. How has everyone been whilst we were away celebrating our love for each other? As if to bat the compliment away and get down to more of a general, all inclusive discussion. He always liked to keep on top of the situation, a quality Lonnie so admired about him. Bonnie, being an integral part of the management team and very pragmatic, took that to be a good time to perhaps mention what has been happening whilst they were away, from a business perspective. Bonnie: We have been trialling some newcomers which I hope, once you've settled in, of course, that you will be keen to cast your eyes over and perhaps keep on. We've unearthed quite a bit of talent as it happens, but some, if not most, of them found us rather than the other way around. I mean we didn't have to go searching for them, obviously but, well anyway, you know how it is. Cody thought for a moment or two to consider what this might mean. No one could ever accuse Cody Emmett Anderson of not being a good listener. Cody: Sure I do. Well I will certainly be wanting to cast my eyes over them all considering the current economic outlook. Costs have been spiraling with all these gasoline hikes, what with inflation increases and uncertainty we've faced since the last change of government. It's anyone's guess as to what our current administration will get up to next, but that's enough about them. I want to hear more about business at home and we will tell you all about our experiences in Thailand, Australia and New Zealand. Suddenly, Bonnie remembered her last trip to New Zealand with her husband, Junior. Bonnie: Sounds wonderful and so beautiful. I loved New Zealand, particularly Christchurch as a place to stay in the South Island. Mind you, it was a pretty rough ride from Picton to Wellington over the Cook Straits, I seem to recall. The capital is an amazing place though, if a little wet. Lonnie as if needing to confirm Bonnie's memory of the city gave her own analogy around their experience in Wellington. Lonnie: It would certainly give Seattle a run for its money, I can tell you. It would compete with Chicago for wind, too. Bonnie: I hope you visited Rota Rua whilst you were in the North Island. Junior loved Rota Rua and Bonnie was enthralled with the geezers and the mud, if not slightly put off by the smell of sulphur that could fill the air. Lonnie: Of course, we loved it there, it was lovely and warm as you might expect but what an awesome experience it was. The Maoris are so friendly, most of the time anyhow. They did get a bit drunk, mind you, and kept the Auckland police department pretty busy, at times. Bonnie: Oh it sounds so beautiful. I'm so happy for you both that you have had such an amazing time. Connie was suddenly feeling the need to get a word in edge ways. Connie: What say you both to us grabbing a bite to eat and a drink and we all catch up? Tired and in need of some fresh, clean clothes, Lonnie felt she needed to assert herself. Lonnie: Perhaps we could go home first and get freshened up and see you both a little later. Cody: I could certainly do with freshening up beforehand but that would be lovely. They left the airport lounge with their suitcases on a trolley and trundled out of the building to find Bonnie's chauffeur there standing with the door and boot lid open, ready to admit his employer and family into the limo and he loaded their suitcases into the boot before driving them to the Andersons home.
