由 Iowa 開始：Des Moines 睇完 State Capitol，Rina 話「發現冇咩做」，於是直接揸 5 個鐘去 Chicago，我哋兩個都係第一次去。第一晚去 Chicago 唐人街，Rina 覺得比 New York 嘅 Chinatown 乾淨舒服好多。第二日去食 Chicago 最出名嘅 deep dish pizza：等位、Barnes & Noble 行兩分鐘就收到 text、10 吋 small 等咗 45 分鐘；Rina 本身唔係 big fan of pizza……佢嘅結論係？之後帶 Maui 同 Maru 去 Millennium Park 睇「粒豆豆」，點知 security 話唔畀狗入。朋友推介 Garrett Popcorn（caramel ＋ cheese 50/50，$8）。再去 Ohio 嘅 Cuyahoga Valley National Park 行條短 trail 睇瀑布仔，最後返到紐約，第一餐梗係打邊爐！ From Iowa (Des Moines and the State Capitol, "nothing to do") we drove five hours to Chicago, a first for both of us. Night one: Chicago's Chinatown, which Rina finds much cleaner than New York's. Day two: Chicago's famous deep dish pizza (the wait, a two-minute Barnes & Noble visit, a 10-inch small after 45 minutes) and Rina's verdict as a non-pizza person. Then Millennium Park and the Bean with Maui and Maru, until security said no dogs, and Garrett Popcorn on a friend's tip (caramel + cheese, $8).
