Wall-E

While he can't compact your trash into neat cubes, this $200 movie-inspired robot is full of some cool technology, including motion and sound sensors and ten motors. Powered by a rechargable Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydroxide) battery, you can either steer him around the room using the IR remote, or use the macro keys to launch pre-selected routines. Unique features include CDS sensors located in the robot's base (the same variety in paper towel dispensers) which avoid walls or feet, and a touch pad on the remote. Testers were impressed, but you can expect the the novelty to fade quickly. More key details are in the video.
