Tokwa’t baboy is a typical Philippine appetizer. It consists of pork ears, pork belly and deep-fried tofu, and is served in a mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, chopped white onions, and red chili peppers. It is usually served as pulutan, as a meal served with rice or as a side dish to rice porridge. For exact ingredients below. Ingredients: 1 1/2 kilo of pork (ear, face mask, liempo part) 1 pc of tofu 10 pcs green chili finger 5 pcs red chili (labuyo) 1/4 cup vinegar 1/4 cup calamansi / lemon juice 1 tbsp sugar 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp iodized salt 1/2 cup soy sauce 1 cup water Cooking oil 1 medium onion 1 head garlic 1/4 cup strips cut ginger FOR BOILING: 4 cups of water Bay leaves 1 tsp whole peppercorn ½ tsp salt Portion of ginger If you've enjoy this video please give it a like.
