UP 1005 LOA11 Meets UP 7237 Manifest | *Rebuilt Crossing* Gilman St. Railroad Crossing, Berkeley CA

April 23, 2025 10:23am After leaving the RPRC Line in Richmond, I came to Berkeley and came on time as I had just arrived here and seen the local coming down the line. After coming down the highway, I saw a yellow aspect so I knew something was coming westbound but I didn't expect it would be meeting the local here at this crossing which was a cool catch. This crossing also was rebuilt since I last filmed it back in 2021. This crossing was rebuilt in late 2023 or early 2024 with a new setup including a bike path on the left side of the crossing and all signals are new here replacing all the signals that were here when I last filmed this crossing and also adding other pedestrian signals. They also added queue cutter traffic signals. Note also since I last was filming in Berkeley, the Camelia St crossing was removed.
