Our 11.7 km mountain hike climbs around 820 meters through peaceful forests, alpine meadows and spectacular autumn scenery, with beautiful views across the surrounding Swiss Alps. Maui is a Kokoni, a small Greek dog who loves exploring the mountains. 🐶 Most of this walk is calm and peaceful — although this time, the mountains had a surprise waiting for him. During the hike, Maui and Marco unexpectedly encountered a wild Alpine ibex in the forest. Only the beginning of the encounter was filmed. When the ibex became increasingly interested in Maui and started following them, Marco put the camera away and focused on safely leaving the situation. Apart from this unusual wildlife encounter, this is exactly what Alpine Dog Walks is about: a relaxing virtual walk through Switzerland with natural sounds, beautiful scenery and no talking.
