R1Liz - Ducati Hypermotard 698 - First Ride

Something new and unusual for me! I've heard many stories about people picking up the 450-700cc super moto bikes and immediately struggling to keep them on the ground (and not always in a good way) so generally I avoid this type of bike, however, if I get invited to try a thing I will say yes - those are the rules. This week I found myself at a small media event to ride the new mini Hypermotard with Ducati UK. I've been panicking about this since I agreed to go, but as it turned out those were wasted fears and the bike is completely different from what I was expecting - if anything, I was the bad influence and the bike was simply a capable enabler.
