In Prayagraj, TGT-PGP candidates are demanding that recruitment notifications for vacant posts in non-government aided secondary and inter colleges be issued based on the old rules and exam patterns. In Delhi, angry students blocked the road following the Satya Niketan accident and launched a strong protest against the municipal corporation and administration. The protesting students called the incident a result of gross negligence by municipal officials. CJP leaders told the Delhi High Court that objectionable posts made on X against BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia will be removed. This lawsuit was filed regarding a post made on X on September 5 by Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Bhatia alleges that Das and Ranka attributed statements to his name and made them public, which he never actually made. Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit India to attend the BRICS summit. This will mark the first bilateral talks between the two leaders in India since the Galwan violence in June 2020. The BRICS summit is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on September 12–13.
