Ecowitt WH2320E Weather Station Review

Quick Summary: I would rate this Ecowitt unit’s accuracy as excellent. During some very hot and sunny days, the Ecowitt’s temperature reporting seemed to be excellent. It also has withstood several storms (including a tornado warning) and I am pleased with the rainfall reporting. So far, the Ecowitt unit has been very dependable and accurate. Update: My area recently experienced an extended internet outage. Once my service was restored, the Ecowitt’s console automatically connected to WU and WeatherCloud. The console also uploaded the saved data so the rain that was measured during the outage was reported. From my understanding, the console can store up to 3500+ records. In my video, I mentioned that I do not use the console…I just leave the screen off. The console connects to your network to report to the online services that you set-up with your mobile device. Edit March 6, 2023: The weather station is still working well. It has held up to some pretty rough weather over the years. The plastic has yellowed some, and I do need to keep the farm field dust cleaned out of the rain gauge to maintain accurate readings. Update: As of June 12, 2025, the UV sensor and temperture sensor has failed. This has been a good and dependable unit. I plan to update it a new Ecowitt station in the months to come. I the mean time, I am back to using my AcuRite Atlas as my main weather station.
