Taira no Tomomori, a warrior who perished at the Battle of Dan-no-ura, returns as a vengeful spirit. Emerging from the stormy sea, he confronts Minamoto no Yoshitsune, determined to drag his enemy beneath the waves, just as he himself once sank. Traditional Japanese instruments—biwa, shakuhachi, and taiko drums—combine with heavy electric guitars to portray a fierce battle between the living and the dead. Drawing his sword, he confronts the vengeful spirit. *Vanishing into the Waves* Through Benkei's prayers, Tomomori is driven back. Carried away by the receding tide, his spirit disappears into the white waves.
