New IJN Takao WW2 Heavy Cruiser Deluxe Edition (Very Fire 1/350 scale model)

An in-box review of Very Fire's new 1/350 scale ship model, the Takao, used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War 2. The Takao saw a large amount of action in the Pacific theatre, including off the coast of the Dutch East Indies, in the South China Sea, and around Borneo and Singapore. This is the Deluxe Edition of the model kit which, on top of the very detailed plastic included in the Standard Edition, features many turned metal, photoetch, and 3D printed resin parts to really push the detail to incredible levels.
