Chakri is an Indian snack. It is often prepared during Indian festivals, especially during Diwali festival. There are various methods of preparing chakri and they vary widely. Murukku (chakri) is made using rice flour and asafoetida. Chakri can also be made using whole wheat flour or rice flour. Some people make Bhajani, a special home made flour for preparing chakris. About recipe :- ~Melted ghee - Take ghee and melt it. ~Make chaklis and fry them immediately. Do not allow the non fried chaklis to dry or else they will break. ~Yields 38 chaklis.
