Propagating My Monstera Albo + A Chat About Plant Burnout & Prices |Air Layering| Repotting

In this video we will be repotting, air layering and cutting up my Monstera Albo while I talk about plant prices, price shaming & plant burnout. To summarize: If there is a plant that you want, stop and think about it before purchasing and give yourself time to save for it rather than buying every stand in for it along the way. Plants are supposed to be a fun hobby but when you buy a bunch of plants you don't really want that's when you'll experience burnout. Try not to get caught up in the instant gratification that is the world we live in today, you have your whole life to collect plants! There is no shame in wanting to own a "rare" expensive plant. Take your time and save your money, this way you can cultivate a collection that you truly love! Finances & money are so relative and vary so much from person to person, think about what you can reasonably afford to spend on plants rather than comparing yourself to other people. If a plant is worth the money to you, then it is! This is why I do not mention the price of the plant in this video, because so many things in my life will be different than yours & whether the plant was a "good deal" or not is irrelevant to your budgeting at the end of the day. I have never gone into debt buying a plant, but if it is something that seems worth it to you that is entirely your decision.
