Inside the 2026 Albuquerque Ballon Fiesta was Monumental Experience

I go inside the 2026 Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and find a group to help. Little did I know when asking around on the field that morning that I would get plugged in with a team who has been involved in ballooning since its earliest days. Brothers Frank and Bill Dickey both have their own balloons and were willing to let me lend a hand. The best part was hearing their stories and getting all the details about the history of ballooning in Albuquerque. They also did a fantastic job explaining the differences in the balloon setups and how they function and why things are the way they are. I couldn’t have asked to be part of a better group that morning, it truly made the experience. God has an incredible way of placing us in the right place at the right time with the right people. Following the Fiesta I headed towards Monument Valley to get that Iconic Forest Gump Point photo and enjoyed the sites for a while before heading back.
