I’m 43 and Starting a Craft Business From Scratch

At 43, I’ve decided to try something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, start my own little craft business from scratch. And honestly, I have no idea where this is going to take me! 😅 In this first video, I’m trying punch needle and beginning to experiment with making products I could potentially sell. I’m very much at the beginning, figuring things out as I go, making mistakes, changing my mind (probably a lot 😂) and seeing whether I can actually turn my creativity into a small business. I’ve spent a lot of my life overthinking things and waiting until I felt “ready”, and I’m realising that sometimes you just have to start and work the rest out along the way. So this channel is going to document the reality of building a creative business in my 40s, from making products and selling at markets to trying to sell online, learning social media and everything else that comes with starting a small business from scratch.
