TTC 2006 Orion 07.501 VII Hybrid 1022

Taken on Thursday, July 25th 2024. Today I got a nice short ride on the 935 Jane Express going Northbound towards Pioneer Village Station on board a 2006 Orion Vii OG Hybrid. These buses are the last of the Original Generation (OG) Series left in revenue passenger service after the retirement of the 2007 Orion Diesel Buses (8000-8099). At this moment in time more of these buses (1000-1149) are being retired whenever they experience a lot of mechanical issues or failures, as a result currently 33 units remain in service. It is unclear at this current moment in time as to when this series will be retired, so if you have the time I recommend getting them while you still can. Have a great day and thanks for tuning in!
