Autobuze STB în cadrul evenimentului Întâlnirea Internațională a Tinerilor Ortodocși

STB buses at International Meeting of Orthodox Youth event. ●Română În perioada 29 august-3 septembrie 2026, Bucureștiul a găzduit evenimetul Întâlnirea Internațională a Tinerilor Ortodocși. Cu această ocazie, organizatorii evenimentului au închiriat 13 autobuze Otokar Kent C18, pentru transportul participanților între Catedrala Națională și unitatea de cazare. Autobuzele Otokar Kent 18 au provenit din parcul liniilor 100 și 335, fiind și singurele linii unde circulă în acest moment. Din păcate, au apărut o serie de consescințe. Linia 335 nu a mai avut cele aproximativ 6 autobuze Otokar Kent 18 repartizate de Autobaza Titan și pe linia 100, către Aeroport, pe lângă cele 6 autobuze articulate, au mai fost introduse alte 5 autobuze Otokar Kent C12, provenite de la liniile din Autobaza Titan. Capacitatea a fost redusă serios, iar autobuzele au circulat la capacitatea maximă admisă. Alte 10 autobuze Otokar Kent C18 sunt imobilizate cu diverse probleme. Din păcate, București are o flotă foarte redusă de autobuze articulate, spre deosebire de alte capitale europene, unde o parte din autobuze sunt de acest tip. ● English / Engels / Anglais / Englisch / Inglés: From August 29 to September 3, 2026, Bucharest hosted the International Meeting of Orthodox Youth. For this occasion, the event organizers leased 13 Otokar Kent C18 buses to transport participants between the National Cathedral and their accommodation. The Otokar Kent 18 buses were drawn from the fleets serving lines 100 and 335—currently the only routes where these vehicles operate. Unfortunately, this led to several consequences. Line 335 lost the approximately six Otokar Kent 18 buses usually assigned to it by the Titan Depot; meanwhile, on line 100 (serving the airport), five additional Otokar Kent C12 buses—also sourced from the Titan Depot—were introduced alongside the six articulated buses already in service. Passenger capacity was significantly reduced, and the buses operated at their maximum permitted capacity. Another 10 Otokar Kent C18 buses are currently out of service due to various issues. Regrettably, Bucharest has a very limited fleet of articulated buses, unlike other European capitals where a significant portion of the bus fleet consists of this type of vehicle.
