Andrew Scott On Coming Out and Film Journals | Stepping Through Film

It was a pleasure to meet Andrew Scott! I'd wanted to properly meet him for years, what an incredible actor. We'd crossed paths very briefly here and there but never properly met. He was so lovely! This was for 'Pressure' which is in cinemas now - we talked generally about acting and the stage vs the screen. His work in the theatre is truly sensational. 'Elsinore' is another upcoming project which looks incredible. His performance looks sublime and I've heard such good things about it already. So I loved thinking about that film in relation to some questions too. It was an honour to talk about coming out and how that's changed his acting as well, after asking Sir Ian McKellen about the same thought. Thanks so much everyone, Tom x
