Watch: How the Ballyhoura Breakthrough Pilot has adapted the Breakthrough Method to the Irish context, supporting families through person-centred coaching, partnership working and innovative community-based solutions. ------------------------------- As part of the CITICESS Interreg Europe project, Ballyhoura Development has adapted the innovative Breakthrough Method, originally developed in Heerlen, the Netherlands, to support families experiencing complex and intergenerational challenges in rural Ireland. The Ballyhoura Breakthrough Pilot brings together agencies, practitioners and communities to provide person-centred coaching, strengthen collaboration between services, and develop practical, community-based solutions that empower families to achieve lasting change. This case study explores how the Breakthrough Method has been successfully adapted to the Irish context, highlighting the learning journey, the partnerships involved, and the impact of the pilot to date. Watch the video to discover how Ballyhoura Development has transformed an international good practice into a locally tailored approach that is helping to improve outcomes for families and communities.
