British GP 2021 - Silverstone (& #silverstonewoodlands ) #F1britishgp #silverstone #lewishamilton

This is a completely self indulgent account of our weekend at Silverstone for the British GP. I say 'self indulgent' because its 56 minutes long!!! However, the magnitude of the event definitely warranted a blow by blow account of the weekend for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was the biggest mass gathering of people in this country since pre March 2020 (16, 17, 18 months or so!!). Secondly, Lewis was (is) behind in the championship which is rare in itself and has found himself toe to toe with Max Verstappen. Thirdly, a new race format was being trialled and finally it was one of the hottest weekends in the UK I have ever experienced!!! So basically, I thought, fcuk it!!! It captures the 'ows' and the 'ahs' of the race, features a kid from Manchester playing 'Please Dont' by the Courteeners and culminates in a mass sing-a-long of Sweet Caroline with some lads from High Green (Sheffield). You also see the beginning of me turning into a banana. If you don't like F1, its probably not for you....if you do...hope you enjoy!! Music is 'Go With The Flow' by Dirty Sterling (Scunthorpe) - check em out below - class band!!   / dirtysterling   https://open.spotify.com/artist/5F60l... Disclaimer - we didn't really break into Woodlands...we legitimately paid and stayed however we thought we could get in a different way and it was too hot to turn back!! Also - shout to Jack Ryan (think that was his name) who played 'Please Dont' by the Courteeners during my 'non' busking set. Top lad!!!
