Pirate Raider (2026) - Commodore 64

You sail a black pirate galleon through a randomly generated archipelago of sandy islands, hunting a treasure ship for her gold while the Royal Navy patrols the sea around you. She turns to face whichever way you steer her, and shoots the way she is sailing. Sink the treasure ship, then sail into her wreck to take the gold. Shoot a Navy ship and it lies dazed for a few seconds. Do that enough and the Navy drops an anchor you can run down for a longer respite. The Navy shoots back, and running aground sinks you just as surely as a round shot. At 5,000 points they send a flagship that hunts you.
