Chasing Shadows - A Noir Short Film

This is one of my earliest works, a noir short film called Chasing Shadows. I was trying out different film noir elements -- lighting, composition, mood etc. The noir short film was shot in downtown Los Angeles over two nights. I had a crew of 5 and we shot 70 setups (!). I have no idea how we managed to do that. Chasing Shadows stars Jose Rosete, cinematography by Alan Dean, music by Joseph 'Sloe" Slawinski. Grips: Jose Chairez & Alex Odesmith - AC: Ally Rybicki - Gaffer: Graham Wade. The film played at several festivals in 2012 and won a couple of awards.
