This is VERY, EXTREMELY OOC! I know, I KNOW. But honestly? I made this video purely for my own satisfaction and to feed my delusions— And I am perfectly aware that this ship has an incredibly low chance of ever becoming canon. Like, almost nonexistent. But you know what? Let me be delusional in peace. Let me enjoy my little fantasy even if none of this is real. Sometimes you just have to look at two characters who absolutely should NOT be together and go, “Yeah. They're perfect for each other.” And then proceed to make an entire AU about them. Don't judge me— To put their relationship simply: they are toxic. VERY, VERY toxic. Even though I made them look ridiculously sweet in this video,don't let that fool you. In my AU, they are still absolutely insane when it comes to each other. Alastor secretly enjoys the fact that Vox is so obsessed with him. That is exactly why he never destroys the cameras Vox has planted inside the hotel or around the places Alastor frequently visits. He KNOWS Vox is watching. He knows Vox is constantly keeping an eye on him—and, perhaps a little embarrassingly, he likes it. “Still watching me, Vox?” Alastor would ask, staring directly into one of the cameras with that infuriating smile. “You really should learn some manners.” And yet, he never destroys it. Not once. Because why would he? He enjoys knowing that Vox is completely and utterly fixated on him. Of course, Alastor would rather tear out his own tongue than admit that. Instead, he keeps Vox exactly where he wants him: right in the palm of his hand. He deliberately disappears just to make Vox worry, shows up where he knows Vox will be, gives him just enough attention to keep him hooked, and then pulls away the moment Vox gets too close. “You missed me, didn't you?” Alastor would tease. “Go to hell,Al” “We are already in Hell,my dear.” Meanwhile, Vox has almost every piece of information about Alastor. Almost. Because Alastor is still Alastor—mysterious, secretive, and frustratingly impossible to completely understand. Vox can track him, monitor him, study his habits, know where he has been and who he has spoken to… but there are still pieces of Alastor that remain completely out of his reach. And somehow, despite everything Alastor does to him, Vox still loves him. That's the truly pathetic part. Alastor can hurt his feelings, mock him, manipulate him, disappear without explanation, and treat his emotions like some amusing little game—and Vox will STILL come back. “Why do you keep doing this to me?” Vox would snap one night. Alastor would simply tilt his head. “Doing what?” “You KNOW what!” “Then perhaps you should stop allowing me to.” And that answer would only make Vox angrier… because deep down, he knows Alastor is right. Another fact is that they fight ALL THE DAMN TIME, yet somehow always end up making up and bothering each other again later. One day they're threatening each other, the next they're casually standing beside each other as if the argument never happened. The other Sinners are constantly left wondering what the hell is actually going on between them. “You two were literally trying to kill each other yesterday.” “Correction,” Vox would say. “He was trying to kill me.” Alastor would smile. “And yet, here you are.” Sometimes the others genuinely cannot tell whether they are enemies, lovers, or somehow both at the same time. “Are you two dating?” someone eventually asks. “NO.” They would answer at exactly the same time. A pause. They look at each other. “…Why did you answer so quickly?” And suddenly they're arguing again. Their way of showing affection is bizarre, unhealthy, and incredibly toxic. Alastor enjoys provoking Vox just to see how much attention he can get from him, while Vox constantly finds excuses to keep tabs on Alastor even when he swears he is “done with him.” They know exactly which buttons to push, exactly what words will hurt, and exactly how far they can go before the other finally snaps. And the worst part? They both know it. They know this relationship is unhealthy. They know they bring out the worst in each other. They know they should probably stay away from each other. But neither of them actually wants to. Because beneath all the fighting, manipulation, obsession, and mind games, there is one thing neither of them can deny: they crave each other's attention far too much. They can spend hours screaming at each other, walk away furious, swear that they never want to see each other again… and then somehow, the next day, Vox is watching one of Alastor's cameras again while Alastor is standing directly in front of it with that smug little grin. “You came back.” “…Shut up, Alastor.” And Alastor simply laughs.
