A Night Prayer for a New Job | Trusting God to Open the Right Door

You don’t have to figure out your whole career tonight. This is a gentle night prayer for anyone who is looking for a job, waiting for an opportunity, dealing with rejection, worrying about money, or wondering when the next door will open. Maybe you have sent the applications, edited your CV, prepared for interviews, checked your inbox more times than you want to admit, and still have no answer. Maybe you are tired of waiting. Maybe you are comparing your journey with everyone else’s and wondering, “When will it be my turn?” Tonight, we bring all of that to God. We pray for provision, wisdom, discernment, the right opportunity, strength to keep going, and peace while we wait. We remember Ruth, who stepped into an uncertain season without knowing how her story would unfold. And before we sleep, we let tomorrow remain tomorrow. The applications can wait. The unanswered emails can wait. The questions we cannot answer tonight can wait. We have done what we can for today. Now we can rest.
