Hot tent camping on a frozen lake ,harvesting fatwood .

It's been a long, cold and tiring winter camp , hunting for fatwood for a few hours then moving to the lake ...and this was just the beginning , i had to set up the hot tent and wood to collect . It was also a fun and productive one, i had delicious bushcraft poutine , a good night sleep and a supply of fat wood to get me through the year ! I really like camp like this, where you have quite a bit to do ,but all the time you want to do it, life should be like that ,always. I also give you general guideline to easily harvest fatwood from pine trees , be sure to check regulation on crown land or to get permission if you do it on private land .
