SPIRIT OF TIBET – Celebrating Culture and Compassion 📍 India International Centre, New Delhi 📅 3rd–5th September 2026 Spirit of Tibet brings together the rich cultural, intellectual and spiritual heritage of Tibet through seminars, films, exhibitions, performances, workshops and cultural experiences. The festival presents Tibet as a living civilisation, highlighting its enduring contributions to philosophy, medicine, literature, arts, ethics and human well-being. At its heart are the Five Major Sciences of Tibet (Rigpa) — Inner Science, Logic and Cognition, Science of Healing, Arts and Crafts, and Language and Linguistics — which have shaped Tibetan intellectual and cultural traditions for generations. Inspired by the lifelong vision of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the festival celebrates universal values of compassion, non-violence, interfaith harmony, peaceful coexistence and the preservation of Tibetan heritage and knowledge systems. A special focus is placed on the Tibetan language, a vital repository of the civilisation’s intellectual and cultural heritage.
