Episode 3 of Monsoon Escape puts us on the Khandi corridor — a stretch most riders drive past without knowing what's actually there 🏔️ Ride Record Date: 01 Aug 2026 This one was ridden two-up — my wife rode pillion the whole way, so this episode moved a little slower and stopped a little more than usual ❤️ After Mulshi's short unplanned ride in Episode 1 and Malshej Ghat's flooded chaos in Episode 2, Episode 3 slows things down — no big mileage target, just a corridor full of stops that don't ask you to take your gear off 🌧️ First stop, Mau Windmill Park 🌬️ Turbines turning through monsoon cloud, the whole stretch feeling more like a different state than Maharashtra. Then a peek at Mau Waterfall — a quick pull-over, no trekking, no gear off, just look and move on. From there the landscape opens up completely — waterfalls everywhere you look, the whole valley running with monsoon water. Next, a quiet lakeside temple — tucked right off the road, most riders on this stretch don't even know it's there. And then the corridor turns honest — a stretch of road full of ongoing work and bad conditions, the kind of riding nobody shows you but everybody deals with.
