Keep in mind that It will mostly be the first battle I am stuck atm on it, If I ever make it past it sometimes it almost is garanteed to end in the second one. This is depressing and quite the unrealistic to achieve, that is the point. Even if some survive war, its not just low chance to survive, but In a lot off situations you are just doomed straight up. I want to treat all life with respect, so I will make very sure to not kill any allied soldiers, so rather be less effective killing mashine but with little to no friendly fire. I will also value my life a lot and may not go with my squad, tho I will not desert, as this is not just a total Imperialist BS war, but actually the soviet people defending their very existance and the future of the world from a Capitalist, Fashist Genocidal Ethnostate planning their extermination. Me stopping when people have been blown up and died means I am geniuanly immersed and feel some grief, or at least strong contempt at war. This is quite stressfull and not always pleasant, but I feel this is best played without desensitizing it I would not fightin any wargame, since 2 imperialist nations fighting each other usually means just workers slaughtering each other for profit. The Western Allies in WW2 is like a grey zone where they did support the soviets, and free some concentration camps, their sacrefieces to be remembered forever. However, the Soviet Union played the bigger part, defended its own terretory and the gains of the working class and did not do it for Imperialist interests at the top. Thats why I feel least uncompfortable and most in battle mentality with the Soviets. The logical and sane option to say fck this shit and desert would may be to strong otherwise.
