​After a grueling schedule of meetings and milestones, I traded the boardroom for the wild. Waking up at 5:00 AM, I headed to Hoskote Lake—one of Bangalore’s largest water bodies spanning nearly 800 acres of wetlands and grasslands—to search for a very special visitor: the European Roller. ​After a patient search, knee-deep mud, and a challenging trek across waterlogged farmlands, I finally spotted this stunning migrant with its striking, washed-out pastel blue plumage.
