Corot called him "the King of Skies". In his last years he also painted the south of France, where he found a completely different light: brighter, bluer and warmer. ✨ DID YOU KNOW? Boudin painted this Mediterranean view in 1893, at the age of 69 – just five years before his death. He was the first mentor of Claude Monet, convincing the teenage Monet around 1857–58 to paint landscapes outdoors.
