Rosh HaShanah Family Service for School-Age Children | Temple Beth El Charlotte (2026)

Celebrate Rosh HaShanah 5787 with a participatory Jewish family service designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Led by Rabbi Beth Nichols, Rabbi Asher Knight, Cantor Danielle Rodnizki, and Shir Kids, this Rosh HaShanah morning service uses Mishkan HaNefesh for Youth to make the prayers and traditions of the Jewish New Year meaningful for school-age children. Together, we celebrate the birthday of the world, hear the shofar, and read the story of creation. Along the way, families consider an important question for the year ahead: How can we grow without losing the qualities that make us who we are?
