FilmClub Movie Review - Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives

This film by filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul won the Palm D’Or at #Cannes and is a soft and sweet look at the nature of life, death, reincarnation and the idea of past lives in a man who is dying from kidney disease. With a steady camera and some truly otherworldly imagery, this film is a meditative experience and one that if you aren’t onboard for, you may write off as “boring” and you’ll have missed a rare and hopeful vision of our connection to the spiritual world and the ghosts of those we love.
