Three members of his legendary Second Great Quintet stepped out on their own: Herbie Hancock on piano, Wayne Shorter on tenor saxophone and Tony Williams on drums. They were joined by bassist Gary Peacock. The result is a rare, adventurous live set from the most exciting rhythm section in jazz, stretching out on “The Eye of the Hurricane”, “Just in Time”, “Oriental Folk Song”, “Virgo” and “Fran-Dance”.
