SGB Play: Final Fantasy IV - Part 1

How 'bout we start a Role-Playing Game? This channel is long overdue for one, so what better way to start than with the first RPG Johnny's ever played? Originally released in 1991 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Final Fantasy IV places us in the control of Cecil Harvey, who embarks on a quest of planetary proportions. Along the way, he'll meet and befriend many people who all have their own stories to tell as well as attempt to stop a Kingdom from gaining dominance over the world. For this LP, we're doing it Post-Commentary because attempting an RPG live has proven to be QUITE the hassle for myself and Matthew. We're also playing the PSP version, which boasts high-quality 2D visuals, and all sorts of knick-knacks that makes it my favorite version of the game. Let's get started Ladies and Gentlemen. Episode 1: Joygasm, thy name is Final Fantasy IV. John and Matt begin the adventure with the Prologue, where we see Cecil is feeling a severe amount of guilt over his latest mission from the King of Baron. Poor Bastard, I'd feel guilty too if I slaughtered innocent people who didn't even attempt to resist. I'm sure it'll pass in time.
