Sandi and her husband Adam are the loving parents of six children. Their youngest, Tabitha, was born with Trisomy 18 (T-18), a rare genetic disorder. Through their journey, they’ve faced unimaginable challenges.
Now, Sandi is a passionate advocate for Simon’s Law, a crucial national effort to ensure that children with disabilities are not discriminated against by hospitals or doctors. Many families face medical bias, where life-saving treatments are withheld from children with conditions like Trisomy 18, Down syndrome, and other genetic disorders—often without parental consent.
In this powerful episode of The Shout My Story Podcast with Cindy Morales, Sandi shares her deeply personal experience of medical discrimination, and the fight for disability rights.
