The Miniare Project

Our research project MINIARE: The Art & Science of Illuminated Manuscripts (2012-2022) has revolutionised understanding of manuscript illumination across Europe’s Middle Ages, offering insights like never before. We were honoured to win a Europa Nostra European Heritage Award 2023 for research at Cambridge University.
