Elissabetha - LUPUS AETERNUM - Finale (A Symphonic Metal Song)

LUPUS AETERNUM - Finale is an emotional, atmospheric symphonic metal track featuring a powerful female voice (Elissabetha). Taken from the upcoming album: ELISSABETHA - LUPUS AETERNUM Lyrics: Intro “Lupus… aeternum…” „O Nacht… erwache…“ Verse 1 The moon ascends in silence, the wind forgets to breathe, and Bedburg feels the tremor of something underneath. A shadow climbs the ruins, a fate no flame could claim— the howl that shakes the heavens still answers to his name. Verse 2 The earth begins to rumble, the ashes swirl anew, a feral pulse of destiny breaks through the smoky blue. She sees his form emerging, reborn in fire’s glow— a spirit stitched from agony that death refused to know. Pre-Chorus And in the dark he rises high— a living curse the night won’t die… 🌕 Chorus Lupus aeternum, the night becomes his throne, the wolf returned where fire could not atone! Lupus aeternum, the curse of burning skies, a god of ash with human in his eyes! Lupus aeternum, the heartbeat of the wild, the wrath of moon and sorrow reconciled! Lupus aeternum, the darkness he commands— the wolf eternal rises from the sands! Verse 3 He paces through the embers, the winter bows in fear, for every cruel injustice now finds its reckoning here. The shadows chant his memory, the forest breathes his name— a hymn of wolf-born sanctity rebuilt from grief and flame. Verse 4 The wind ignites the heather, a storm of embered gold, and in the blaze his silhouette stands fierce, alive, and bold. Her trembling heart remembers the man they tried to slay— yet in the wolf before her now his soul still lights the way. Bridge Latin choir “Aeternus lupus! Ignis renatus! Umbrae regnum! Sanguis vocatus!” “Through death, through night, through agony— the wolf becomes eternity!” Chorus Lupus aeternum, the night becomes his throne, the wolf returned where fire could not atone! Final Chorus Lupus aeternum— forever shall he reign, the spirit forged from torment, fire, pain! Lupus aeternum— no church can bind his breath, for he has conquered judgment, flame, and death! Lupus aeternum— the night bows at his feet, the world shall tremble when their fates repeat! Lupus aeternum— the ancient oath survives— the wolf eternal walks, and never dies! Outro “Lupus… aeternum…” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Lupus Aeternum — The Werewolf of Bedburg (1589)” A Dark Symphonic Metal Opera “Lupus Aeternum” is inspired by the chilling legend of the Werewolf of Bedburg — one of Europe’s most haunting historical cases, shaped by famine, superstition, trial hysteria, and the terror of a beast that stalked the heather fields under the blood-red moon of 1589. This album reimagines the legend as a sweeping symphonic metal opera: frozen forests, torchlit hunts, medieval courts, haunting choral laments, and the tragic downfall of a man whose name survived the flames of execution and echoed through German folklore for centuries. Here, the wolf is not merely a monster — but a reflection of human fear and darkness, a hunted soul bound by torment, a condemned outsider, broken by torture and accusation, whose final breath fed the fire… but whose curse never truly died. 🔥 Mood & Atmosphere • Haunted forests • Frosted earth • Torch-lit hunting parties • Medieval tribunals • Wolves in the night • Blood-stained moons • Whispered testimonies • Fear, superstition & hysteria • Tragedy • Fire • Eternal curse A powerful ensemble of voices — growling and whispered, sorrowful and commanding — guides the listener through a world where belief shapes reality, where superstition rules the courts, and where the boundary between man and beast bleeds into shadow. “Lupus Aeternum” blends historical tragedy with sweeping cinematic orchestration, dark poetry, and the relentless force of symphonic metal.
