Late fall harvest | Pruning, Garden support & Clean Up

In today’s video, we are making the most of the late fall season with a bountiful harvest and a major garden cleanup. The weather is turning, so it is time to clear out some plants that are done and secure the last of this year's bounty. We’re starting with a huge harvest of: • Peppers: Tons of banana peppers, spicy Jalapeños, and sweet mini peppers. • Eggplants: Picking beautiful Indian eggplants • Squash & Melons: Bringing in the butternut squash and heavy pumpkins from the garden beds and along the fence line. • Vines & Greens: Gathering the last of the native bitter gourds, green beans, and even some late-season strawberries! Aside from the harvest, it's time for heavy garden maintenance. I’ll be pulling out the tomato plants that have finished their run, taking down old vines, and weeding the beds to prepare for winter. I’m also adding much-needed plant support to my bell peppers and banana peppers to help them hold up their remaining fruit. It’s a busy day of gathering, cleaning, and supporting the garden as we transition into the colder months.
