Now, he believes that there may be a political motive behind the continuous criticism of YSRCP and Jagan. He alleged that Jagan is being targeted for campaigning because he is planning to set up his own political platform. Sajjala also reacted strongly to Vijayasai Reddy describing him as a 'coterie leader'. He stated that Jagan is the main leader in the YSRCP. He said that everyone in the party system will carry out the responsibilities assigned to them and the entire system will not revolve around just one person. He explained that collective effort is key in the party's growth. However, Sajjala warned that if personal criticism of YSRCP and Jagan continues, he will not remain silent anymore. He said that so far, he has exercised restraint keeping in mind the old affiliation, and if the same approach continues, the party will have to respond strongly.
