At the DMK Executive Committee meeting, nine important resolutions were introduced as part of a plan to restructure and strengthen the party organisation. The proposed changes include age limits and a two-term restriction for district secretaries and other levels of party secretaries. DMK president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reportedly emphasised the need to restructure the party and create opportunities for a new generation of leaders.
