Žavcar Peak on Kozjak Hills (Žavcarjev Vrh), Styria, Slovenia

A quick peek at the Žavcar Peak (Žavcarjev Vrh 915m). With aerial footage of dynamic topography of Kozjak Hills. And a short forest-walk. One of highest hills in the Eastern Kozjak towering over settlement of Bresternica and Bresternica accumulation lake on Drava River, and a very popular hiking destination beloved by locals. Hill is accessible with a car by partially gravel road to the Lodge on Žavcar Peak (Koča na Žavcarjevem vrhu) which lies at elevation of 863 m. Various hiking routes also lead to the Lodge through the forest and further towards the peak. Hill offers spectacular view on opposing Pohorje Massif and towards Drava valley and City of Maribor.
