Hi! I’m Tammy Salamone, The Pink Survivor, and this is, “The Year I Wish I Could Erase." This is my sixth video in my series going through my entire breast cancer story. #cancersurvivor #breastcancer #mastectomy In this video I'm having my pre op appointments before my double mastectomy with reconstruction. Just days away from this surgery I am very depressed, scared and struggling to keep it all together emotionally. The doctors go over my plan for surgery and what will happen that day. I have been married to my very patient and loving husband, Dean, for over 26 years and we have three beautiful daughters together. I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and I’m confident my fitness level helped me before, during and after my breast cancer diagnosis. In early 2017, I was told I had an early stage breast cancer and then things began to spiral and overtook my entire life for almost two years.
