1979-1981 Datsun 280zx rear brake pad and caliper removal and rebuild

How to replace the brake pads and completely remove/rebuild the caliper on the "elephant ear" style rear brakes found on the 1979-1981 Datsun 280zx. In this video we remove the old brake pads and the entire caliper assembly. We replace all the seals on the caliper before reinstalling. (Raybestos seals were purchased from Rock Auto) Tools needed: -17mm socket with extensions (caliper bolts) -10mm flare nut wrench (brake line removal) -Pick for removing old seals -brake piston windback tool Allow yourself 1-2 hours per side.
