N Scale AC4400CWs - ScaleTrains & Kato Comparison

In May of 2025, ScaleTrains released their second run of AC4400CWs in N scale. I took this opportunity to get myself one to go with the Kato model I picked up a couple years ago. I opted for the CSXT 391, "The Spirit of Dante". This locomotive pays tribute to the people of the once bustling railroad town of Dante, WV, a hub of operation for the Clinchfield Railroad. Instead of doing a typical unboxing and review for this video, I decided to compare the differences between the new ScaleTrains model and the Kato model of the AC4400CW they introduced in the 1990s. And these are the only two models of this industry changing locomotive we have in N scale!! Follow along as we look to see how similar and different these two model are!
