Trains with Diesel Locomotives on the Bay Street Shuttle | NJT 4559 and 4003 with its Unique Horn

On two different weekends in September 2025, I saw the Bay Street Shuttle at Glen Ridge Station along the Montclair-Boonton Line. Since Arrow III's normally operate on the Bay Street Shuttle, it was interesting to see NJ Transit ALP-45A 4559 and PL42AC 4003 on it during these two days. 4559 was running in diesel mode. Listen to 4003's unique horn as it pulls into the station. Notice how 4003 was paired with a full set of Metro-North coaches.
