Plowing a Raw Field

Our Saddlebred and Clydesdale get hitched to a riding plow on a beautiful Tennessee morning. This ground is raw, as in it has not been cultivated in so long that the sod has become well established. During the event, we discovered that there was a large tree that had fallen many, many years ago in this section. So much time has past that the tree had sank into the soft ground and preserved itself. Richard did not want to over do the training and after snagging that tree, we decided to cut things short. It's good to have the team assemble, load in the trailer, and visit new environs as part of the boarder education and exercise of patience... and that goes for the driver as well.
