Repertoire: The BEST and WORST Vaughan Williams Symphony Sets

Vaughan Williams' nine symphonies form as varied, powerful, and rewarding a cycle of works as anyone has achieved in the medium. At the time of writing (or video-ing) there are eight boxed sets available, and I'll give you a little guided tour of each. There are two that you definitely should consider hearing.
